"A memory card is a critical component in the professional photographer's digital system. After all, it's the thing that holds the pictures. We hope that the CF/SD Performance Database will, first and foremost, enable you to determine which cards offer the speed your workflow requires. But we encourage you to look at card performance holistically. While speed is important, so is the warranty, tech support and the reputation of the company whose name is on the label."

I reckon any of the Ultra/Extreme III SanDisk cards are good enough, the Extreme IV is wasted on anything less than EOS 1D. Good to know I can sleep easier now! It looks like the 4Gb models are not ready available with the advent of 8Gb/16Gb cards. There's even a 32Gb CF out too - insane! Well at 110 Euros 16Gb SanDisk Extreme III is excellent value.
